New Waffle Flower Release!

Hey there!

We JUST got in a new release from Waffle Flower and I am so excited to share!

If you frequent our area you've probably ridden on the gondolas at Anakeesta or one of the other tourist attractions. When I saw this die I just HAD to order them for the store. (I've added the links under the photos if you want to see them on our website.) These gondola dies are a great size because you can add them to the front of a card or use them on scrapbook pages!

(If you click on any of the product photos below they will take you to the product page on our website.)

There were several other really great sets as part of this release:

I LOVE this forest window scene die. There are so many things you could do with it! You could use this die for any season and it will be beautiful.

This window scene die is also SO versatile. Love the shaker sample below!

This cute Winter View die and stamp set are also great additions to this release.

Which set is your favorite? I personally think the Window Scene die is my fave. I also LOVE those super cute pink mountains so I may have to recreate that!

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
All of these sets are available now online and in store!

I hope you have a great week! :)

I Love You With All My Hearts

Hello! :)

Whew, what a wild week we had! If you follow us on facebook you probably saw all our changes in store hours and closings. Snow, snow, and more snow. Where we live we received about 6-8 inches and we have one tiny little hill on our driveway that (when iced over) kept us from being able to leave. So for most of the week we were stuck at home. It was fun for about two days, then it just became madness.  Thankfully the snow is melted and we are now able to be a part of civilization again. Thanks for everyone being so kind and flexible during all the delays and closings! :)

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and Taylored Expressions released some super cute goodies! I got a small order in yesterday, so I brought a few items home to play with and I had SO much fun I thought I'd share here!

These are the new sets I used to create my card:

Hang On - Hearts (Die Set with so many shapes of hearts. Some have textures and designs and some are solid. Can be used alone or with the stamp set!)

Hang On Stamp Set

With Love Sentiment Set (there are coordinating dies for purchase to go with this set)

Here is what I came up with:

I used Tim Holtz Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxides to make the blended background.

Then I used my Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Watercolor Palette and some watered down Simon Hurley Lunar Paste in Prom Queen for the splatter.

I played around with the place ment of my hearts and used foam squares on some and opted to glue down some. It really makes it stand out to have the different dimensions.

I LOVE the "I Love You With All My Hearts" sentiment. It was perfect!

I will have this card on display at the store if you want to come see it in person. :)

Here are some other examples from the Taylored Expressions website using the sets for additional ideas!

We have a limited number of these sets available in store now!

While we do not carry Taylored Expressions on our website, we are happy to take your order over the phone and ship these to you!

We'd love to see your valentine projects! Also did you get snowed in this week?

I hope everyone has a great week! Stay warm! :)

First Post.

 Hi and welcome! :)

My name is Hannah and I am the second-generation owner of Scrapbook Superstore in East Tennessee. If you've been in the store in the last 5 years you've probably met me! (and at least one of my kiddos running around the store!) We've currently been snowed in for about 4 days and I thought it was the perfect time to FINALLY set up a blog.

Since we don't currently do a newsletter, I thought this might be a fun place to share new products, techniques, projects, etc. I would also love to be able to share anything exciting going on around the store.

I do have my hands full with the stores, kids, pets, (really ALL the things) so I'm not sure how often we will post here, but I do hope to make it a semi-regular thing! I would LOVE to collab and have guest posts so feel free to reach out to thescrapbooksuperstore@gmail.com and use "BLOG" in the subject line if you have any ideas or anything paper crafting you'd like to share in this space!

I really hope we can create a fun, welcoming community here for all of us who love paper crafts!

I think that's all I have for now, but I promise the next post will be more exciting!

Until next time! :)
